Designed specifically for beginners with no prior robotics experience, the Buggy Project walks you step-by-step through assembling hardware, wiring circuits, and programming an Arduino-powered rover to navigate and solve a maze.
What You’ll Learn:
Mechanical Assembly: Assemble a two-wheeled chassis, motors, and caster wheels.
Electronics & Wiring: Connect motor drivers, switches, power circuits, and learn basic soldering.
Sensors & Coding: Mount ultrasonic distance sensors and write simple Arduino code to detect walls and steer around obstacles.
The Competition: Put your buggy to the test against other teams in our end-of-term Maze Challenge!
Requirements: Zero experience required. All hardware kits, components, and tools are provided by RoboSoc.
